Wes, I would be afraid that bleach would kill the embryo and there is already enough chlorine in the water to kill any bacteria. And I use the running water under the tap so I don't cross contaminate...

Hello, When I used to pick up eggs on a broiler breeder farm ,we always used clorox cleanup wipes.That is what I use on my hatching eggs and have had no problems as of yet.

Well I don't wash my hatching eggs, never have. I just don't set dirty eggs, especially shipped ones.
